I am an African American woman living in Dallas with my husband, daughter and myriad of pets. I have done many things with my life and soaping pulls many of them together nicely. I trained as a Chef in Philidelphia PA, Studied Herbalism under Susun Weed in NY, and studied Foreign Languages at the University of Delaware.
My soap is a creative outlet that combines my interest in Women's traditional skills, Gourmet dining and cultural exploration. I take inspiration from my chef training, herbal studies, diverse cultures and the countless women that have gone before me in creating.
My soaps have been formulated with the upmost care using high quality ingredients that support the communities that make them when ever possible. To this end I purchase shea butter and other ingredients from a women's collective in Togo. My aim is to make a soap that delights your senses, cleanses and pampers your skin and fulfills my desire to support women's work around the world.
