Reincarnation!

Well after a long hiatus SylettSoap is back!Teaching was an interesting experience but I'm so happy to be back to soaping. Production is going full swing to get ready for the 4th annual Funky Finds Spring Fling in Ft. Worth TX. I'm happy to offer all my previous soaps and I'm introducing my Sugar Scrub this spring to get you silky smooth for beach season. This scrub is based on my uber luxurious blend of African virgin oils and will leave you so soft and smooth you may just think you are a baby again. It's been a hard year for the economy and soap production was not immune to the vicissitudes of the economy. I have decided to keep my prices the same as they were in 2009 to help you out. To accomplish this, I am now offering my soaps naked, unencumbered by packaging. Not only does packaging create excess waste and trash, it also adds to the expense of the soap. So by offering my soaps naked I can pass the savings on to you. So when you buy my soaps at a show or via my website your soaps will be wrapped in paper and a brochure will be included to help you identify the smells and their ingredients. So Come on out March 10 & 11 and help me celebrate my return!

And like a Phoenix rising from the ashes....

Well, after a 2 year hiatus SylettSoap returns to production in January 2012. I got a job as a classroom teacher in our local public school but was laid off due to budget cuts in November. So now it is time to jump back into the soap stream with both feet and full force. I've been working on a few new items and soaps and am anticipating my return to the marketplace with great excitement. Here is a sneak peak of what I've been working on but shhhhh, no telling until January!

Thanks to all those who came out and made the Urban Street Bazaar a huge success for SylettSoap. The weather held off until about 3 minutes after I finished breaking down. Thanks to everyone who came out the the Spring Bash and made it a rousing success. I had a great time and my daughter got a taste of selling and I think she is a natural. We had a great time seeing everyone and talking to the folks who came to our booth. Now it's time to restock the bestsellers. As I find new venues to attend I'll keep you posted here in the blog.
